Adult Confirmation

Adult Confirmation Formation at Our Lady of Guadalupe consists of approximately 7 weekly sessions. Each session is approximately 3 hours in length. Sessions are held in-person at the parish and are held on Saturday mornings. There will also be a half-day Retreat at the parish, which will include the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession). You will also need to choose a SPONSOR for your Confirmation.

The Sacrament of Confirmation will be Administered by the Bishop.

Some session topics covered will include Evangelization, Prayer, Bible, Creed and Trinity, Sin, Four Marks of the Church, Sacraments of the Church, Commandments-Beatitudes, Mass (Liturgy of Word-Liturgy of Eucharist), Social Teachings of the Church, Seasons of the Church, Mission and Call to Ministry and the Eucharistic Life of the Church. 

Must be at least 16 years of age. Must be fully initiated in the Catholic Church (have Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation). If a person is Married, they must be Married in the Catholic Church. The SPONSOR should have an active life in the Church (attending Mass).
