His name is Fr. Jenish Jose, but he prefers to be called Luke. He is originally from the southern part of India, Kerala. He is the middle child of Jose and Anna and has two brothers. After completing his high school studies, he decided to join the seminary. Fr. Luke belongs to the Order of Heralds of Good News, whose charism is to train and send priests wherever there is a need.

He joined the seminary in 2001 and was ordained on May 12, 2011.  Following his ordination, he served as a parochial vicar and then moved on to become a pastor in different parishes. In 2023, Fr. Luke came to San Antonio to continue his ministry and was assigned to Our Lady of Guadalupe as a parochial vicar.

"I love offering Masses, finding my happiness in being a sacrifice for Jesus and offering sacrifices to Him. I also enjoy listening to music, dancing, traveling, and playing games."
